An open source dynamic link library housing 1000+ subs, functions and properties spread throughout 50+ classes that can be easily integrated into your visual basic and visual basic .net projects as a com component or pure vb code.
The aim of the advanced function library was to take microsoftīs extremely user friendly and easy to understand language and make it even simpler by pumping it full of useful routines so you donīt have to lift a finger in order achieve great functionality in your applications and at the same time make everything 100% open source and available for anybody.
The library isnīt just restricted to the visual basic environment (but its optimized for it) you can use the advanced function library in just about any COM aware programming environment which includes but is not limited to visual basic, real basic, c++, c#, delphi, asp, php, vbscript and more.
The entire structure and interface of the library is very logical, easy to understand and gives you full control over just about every aspect of the host machine from bios and motherboard information all the way to playing music and video files a must have for any developer. The source code to the library (in visual basic 6.0 format) can be found on the rye productions website in the documentation library.
